PART 1: Introduction
Karla Kava Inc. is currently in the 14th season of
conducting the
Transportation Survey for the Seattle Mariners. Traffic data
collection is required by the City of Seattle to assess the impact of
baseball games on local traffic conditions. Specifically, the
survey
is designed to provide a statistically precise estimate of the number
of vehicles per 1,000 Safeco Field ballgame attendees using a randomly
selected probability sample.
In practice, this means that you -
the interviewer - will need to
approach ballpark attendees with only one to three simple questions!
